Sinch said on November 5 that net sales for July to September were SEK 7,085 million, an organic increase of 5 percent on SEK 6,659 million a year earlier.
What happened
In its third quarter report, Sinch put gross profit at SEK 2,450 million, an organic increase of 4 percent, and adjusted EBITDA at SEK 967 million, up 5 percent organically. Currency effects added 2 percent to net sales. Acting CEO and CFO Jonas Dahlberg said “Organic net sales increased 5 percent and organic gross profit increased 4 percent, driven by Americas.” Adjusted EBITDA margin held at 13.7 percent.
The report lists three product items. Sinch extended direct RCS Business Messaging connectivity to all major Tier 1 operators in Canada, which it says completes its Tier 1 RCS coverage across North America. It launched Mailgun Inspect on Salesforce AgentExchange, an email testing tool aimed at deliverability and campaign performance. It also renamed MessageMedia as Sinch Engage in Australia.
Why it matters
Messaging vendors are being pulled into the same agent plumbing as the rest of the stack. We covered Meta’s Muse agent connecting to Klaviyo and Shopify in September, and Salesforce’s agreement to acquire Braze in October. Sinch’s report adds a carrier-side data point: it says it has integrated its network into AI developer tools including ChatGPT, Codex, Claude and Grok Build.
One thing to ask
In our reading, the RCS line is the one for marketers to take to a vendor review. The report says Sinch now has direct connectivity to the major Tier 1 operators in Canada. A team sending RCS campaigns can ask its messaging provider which North American routes are direct and which pass through another party, and get the answer in the contract rather than on a slide.
