Conversational AI agents are starting to reach customer experience buyers through their suite vendor’s own price list. Parloa said on October 26 that its Agent Management Platform is now available as an SAP Solution Extension, sold under the name “SAP Conversational Agent Management by Parloa.” Parloa builds AI agents that handle customer conversations across channels, voice included, and says the extension went through SAP’s qualification process and comes with SAP support services.

The release positions the product as an add-on to SAP Customer Experience solutions and describes Parloa as one of the only conversational AI agent management extensions available for them. Fressnapf, an SAP customer, is named as a user of Parloa’s voice agent, which answers customer questions and hands calls to staff with a short summary when needed.

Why it matters to marketing teams

An agent bought as part of the CX suite reads from the same customer records that campaigns, loyalty offers and service history sit in. Malte Kosub, CEO and co-founder of Parloa, said the platform is “natively connecting to SAP data and business context.” For marketing operations, that puts every automated conversation inside the data model the team already segments and measures against. SAP’s CX applications led G2’s fall rankings, as SAP CX Sweeps G2’s Fall 2026 Rankings reported in September.

What to ask before turning it on

In our reading, the buying route changes who signs off on the agent. When it arrives as an extension of a suite the company already pays for, procurement can treat it as a line item, and the marketing team may not see the conversation design or the hand-off rules until customers do. Ask for access to conversation logs and for a say in what the agent offers or promises, since those exchanges shape brand perception as much as any email. The same push to put agents in front of customers ran through Dreamforce 2026, where Canada Goose and others pitched service AI agents as revenue.
