Coda, which runs the Codashop store for game top-ups and digital goods, said on November 1 that creator videos on TikTok linking to Codashop have drawn 1 billion views since the link-out launched in mid-June 2026.
The release says the partnership with TikTok Gaming lets users in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines link straight to Codashop to buy game top-ups, gift cards and other digital goods. Creators feature Codashop-listed content in livestreams and short videos. Click-through has averaged above 5%, and around 5% of clicks convert to purchases. Coda says most buyers are new to Codashop.
“Commerce is increasingly happening wherever discovery happens,” said Zac Liew, Chief Commercial Officer, B2B, at Coda. The release says Codashop records more than 6 million transactions and 13 million site visits a month.
Why it matters for marketers
The numbers describe a creator-to-checkout funnel with every stage counted: views, clicks and purchases. Working from Coda’s two rates, about one in 400 people who see a creator video buys, and most of them are new customers. That is the figure affiliate and creator programmes are usually judged on, and few platforms publish it. Our analysis of the creator economy’s measurement ceiling describes why. TikTok’s own commerce push, including agent checkout in testing, points the same way.
One practical step
Before paying creators on views, ask the commerce partner whether it can report click-through and purchase rates per creator, and whether it separates new buyers from existing ones.
