Google made Structured Data Files v11 generally available for Display & Video 360, and all users can now download and upload SDFs in that version through the DV360 interface.
The Display & Video 360 API Team announced the release on the Google Ads Developer Blog on October 8. Version 11 expands Lookalike audience inclusion and exclusion targeting to all ad groups except those under YouTube Ad Sequence line items, and it adds support for Business Chain proximity targeting to the line item file format.
The release also changes the YouTube third-party vendor columns. Four existing columns now carry reporting IDs and support multiple vendor assignments, and the related reporting ID columns, now redundant, have been removed. New columns, column options and column restrictions support YouTube Instant Deal line items, along with their ad groups and ads. Google says Instant Deal support is in beta and open only to allowlisted partners. Those line items, ad groups and ads will not appear in downloaded files and can only be uploaded through the YouTube Instant Deal creation workflow in the DV360 interface.
Google also reminds users that any version earlier than v10 is deprecated and will sunset in January 2027. A migration guide covers the move to v11 from any available version.
Why it matters
Teams that run DV360 line items through SDF templates or scripts have two jobs: anyone on v9 or earlier faces a January 2027 deadline, and anyone on v10 has a column change to absorb.
In our reading, the removal of the four reporting ID columns is the change most likely to break something. A template or script that reads those columns by name or position needs updating before it moves to v11, and a header comparison between a v10 and a v11 download finds every affected field.
