SAP Customer Experience swept more than 100 Leader positions across the G2 Fall 2026 Grid Reports, the software review platform’s twice-yearly rankings built entirely from verified customer reviews rather than analyst scoring or vendor submissions. SAP Commerce Cloud took the number one spot in the Enterprise Order Management segment and climbed to number two overall in both E-Commerce Platforms and Omnichannel Commerce, up from number three in each category last cycle. SAP Sales Cloud placed third among 54 vendors in Enterprise CRM, and SAP Engagement Cloud held onto its leadership positions in email deliverability and personalization engines heading into the holiday season.
“Earning a Leader position in a G2 Report is highly competitive and rooted in verified customer reviews,” said Godard Abel, co-founder and CEO of G2. “Congratulations to SAP Customer Experience for achieving this distinction. Buyers can be confident this ranking reflects the authentic experiences of real users.”
For a CMO evaluating platform consolidation, a review-driven ranking carries different weight than an analyst quadrant: it reflects what practitioners actually experienced running the software, not a vendor’s briefing pitch. SAP’s gains concentrate in commerce and order management rather than pure marketing automation, which matches how the marketing automation category has been merging into a single shared layer spanning CRM, service and commerce instead of staying a standalone discipline.
The original insight is in what SAP chose to headline alongside the rankings. Its own release ties the win directly to a list of AI features shipping across Sales, Service, Engagement and Commerce Cloud, including an agentic opportunity summary for sales pipelines and an AI-assisted content composer for email campaigns, the same trend behind why marketing campaigns are starting to run themselves. A vendor leading G2’s reviews today is making a bet that reviewers will keep rating it highly as more of the platform’s day-to-day work shifts from a human operator to an embedded agent, which is a very different retention risk than winning on price or feature count.
