The Adecco Group is rolling out Salesforce’s Agentforce Coworker to more than 40 countries after a pilot in the UK and France, putting an AI teammate directly in the daily workflow of 27,000 employees. The tool, embedded in Salesforce’s platform and powered by Anthropic’s Claude, gives sales and recruitment staff a single interface for finding priority prospects, preparing briefs, enriching prospect data and tracking leads, plus launching pre-screening, recruiter and onboarding agents for candidates. The Adecco Group operates under an unlimited Agentforce 360 enterprise agreement with Salesforce and has already run agentic AI across recruitment workflows in ten countries representing half its business revenue, drawing on more than 2.5 million agent-candidate interactions logged since April 2025.
“We are seeing the biggest redesign of work since the internet; we need to enable our people with technology and new ways of working,” said Denis Machuel, CEO of the Adecco Group. “Building on our successful recruitment agentification, the rollout of Coworker means our teams have access to a single interface that knows candidate history, client context for the moment when human judgment matters the most.”
What makes this worth tracking is the scale of the claim being tested in public. Vendors have pitched embedded AI coworkers for two years; Adecco is now running one across a 27,000-person global workforce with a named CEO staking his own credibility on the outcome at a live keynote. That is a far larger, harder-to-walk-back bet than a pilot case study, and it gives every enterprise buyer weighing a similar rollout a real-world stress test to watch: does adoption hold up once it moves from a two-country pilot to a global workforce spanning dozens of markets, languages and compliance regimes, and does the productivity gain Machuel describes survive contact with that complexity.
